Romantic...or not....

So today I planned a romantic idea to try and get a girl back that i screwed over a year ago.  I went back to my ex and just stopped talking to her. So My ex and I broke up and I am trying for the girl i screwed over again.  She doesn't trust me and thinks I am just going to leave. So today I went and bought fake roses and surprised her at her house except she wasn't there so I had to call her and have her meet me at a Stewart's gas station.  So I give her the fake flowers and say as long as these are alive I will never leave again.  Then not even a sweet text or anything after. 8 words and nothing more....FML. I don't get it!!!!
